I needed a simple USB drive to hold my documents as a backup. This works perfectly on the variety of computers I've used it on.
The product is a little darker than the picture shows and it isn't quite as easy to see the "guts" of it as I would have liked.

Being a person who seems to consistently drop smaller electonic items, ie, cell phone, keyless car remote, etc... i bought the 32GB C250 and knowing i will eventually drop it and after a couple months of owning it have done so and am happy to say this is a very durable USB Drive. I have had no issues so far and am very happy with my purchase!!

The drive works as well as any other USB flash drive. There were two issues, however. I needed to put a string through the hole in one end, because it didn't come with one. That's no big deal. It's easy and cheap to rectify. The second item might be important to some of you: The "pocket-lint" cap doesn't snap on securely. After carrying this thing around in my pocket for a couple of weeks, it fell off and now I have to tape it on if I want it to stay. It didn't take any obvious damage, it's just too loose.
I usually lose the cap eventually anyway. With this drive, it doesn't matter if you lose the cap because it isn't going to stay on.

You would hope a company's quality control would eliminate lemons. But I got a lemon from EMTEC with this EMTEC C250 Candy Series 32 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Blue). It failed in my 2nd data transfer session. Right in the middle I got this error message: "Windows was unable to save all the data for the File F: The data has been lost. The error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save the file elsewhere." All 30 GB of data are now inaccessible, both on my PC and my laptop--I continue to get the error message no matter what USB port it's plugged into. It's a good thing the original files were backed up at their original location, but I lost a lot of time because the restore "undid" all the new organization I had done on the flash and that will have to be redone. That had not had time to back up. EMTEC offers a 5 year replacement on the product, and now I believe that's because the product fails a lot. Getting a replacement isn't the issue; losing data is the issue. I won't ever buy from EmTec again.
