I use this in my Lumix DMC-ZS3. It has no issues storing HD video shot in AVCHD lite. I shot 1 hour straight and this card handled it, and the camera didn't take more than a few seconds to reset for the next shot. Very good card.
Good Memory Card February 10, 2010 Amy D. (IL) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I ordered this product to use Panasonic AVCHD camera, and I haven't had any problems with it. The camera and memory card have become very good friends.
Class 10 can't record PH or HA mode on Panasonic AG-HMC150 March 4, 2010 C. Iannetta (Providence, RI USA) 10 out of 18 found this review helpful
The price is to good to be true. I recently purchased a Panasonic AG-HMC150 AVCCAM that shoots on an SDHC card. I was led to believe that a high class card such as this would be the perfect match...Well I was wrong. The reason I bought the class 10 card was to enable the high writing speed the camera-recorder needs. Now I'm sitting here writing this review feeling like a fool. If your looking to get the highest quality out of your AG-HMC150 DON'T buy this card. I am only allowed to shoot in HA and HE modes. We all know the reasons why we buy the AG-HMC150 is to get the PH(Professional HighDef.) 1080. BTW I love my AG-HMC150. Call up your camera-recorder customer services hot line before you purchase any SDHC card. Another thing is my new MacBook Pro SD card reader can't recognize the card either. I'v been reading reviews about the classes in SDHC and the highest in class doesn't mean the best in class. You must purchase a card reader compatible with the SDHC(Secure Digital High Capacity) in order to log and transfer your data. They go for an extra $10-$20 bucks and there worth it. Don't be a fool and think this card will out perform the others, I don't want you to make the same mistake as I have.
Not Class 10....................do not buy February 9, 2010 Bobby Ratliff 4 out of 10 found this review helpful
I don't think this card is actually Class 10. I have a Cannon HFS100, and with this card I cannot record video in full HD. I cannot use the MXP or FXP modes. But, my Transcend 16 GB Class 6 works perfectly. I feel stupid thinking a "made in Japan" Panasonic card would be worth the extra money. At least I did not buy a Toyota.
Anyway, according to the Cannon HFS100 manual, a class 4 SDHC would be sufficient for full MXP HD. This Panasonic card is only adequate for taking still pictures or lousy video.
I have read some recent posts, that the Cannon HF S100 needs a firmware update to support Class 10. Could be...checking. It may be Cannon's fault.
