High Capacity at Affordable Price June 17, 2009 Alison (Ohio) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
As a graphic designer, I needed a high capacity flash drive that could hold a number of large files. This one does the trick - it's affordable, for one, and it's also professional looking - simple black design with chrome trim. So while I personally prefer the look of "cooler" flash drives, like Emtec's silly Kooky or that super thin S300 drive, this black one is a perfect fit for my business.
Huge Capacity, Small Size June 30, 2009 Brent D. Kovalsky 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is truly a space saver for me. I could not phathom a 64GB USB drive this small; it fits in my pocket like a lighter. Excellent purchase and satisfied buyer!
excellent product September 8, 2009 B. Neugeboren (Cambridge, MA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
i've been very happy with this usb drive. do realize it is bigger than the average because it has so much memory. this means that you might have to unplug other devices to get it into it's slot - at least on a laptop.
Best USB flash drive price/GB September 22, 2009 John Morrison (Azeroth) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
At $60, this is a very good deal if you need portable storage or a dedicated backup drive. (No, you won't fit your entire system onto it... but then, you don't need to. Unless you're a graphic designer or in a similar field, 32 GB will be more than enough storage for essential files.) That's what made me purchase it, and I don't regret it. This will more than hold my backups with room for growth, and all at a price that's lower than using a handful of smaller-capacity flash drives.
The unit is nice enough looking, but has a few odd quirks. Most importantly, it's VERY wide, twice as wide as most other flash drives. If you're plugging it into a tightly packed back panel, you may block another USB port. I imagine that most people will plug it into their front interface ports, which are often more generously spaced. It is, however, the biggest drawback of this drive, and one which you should be aware of before you wind up having to rearrange your whole USB network.
The drive comes with a cap which fits VERY tightly; it has an inset loop for a cord but no cord nor is there a place on the drive body for one. It also can't snap on the back side of the drive. Expect to lose the cap. It's also smooth plastic, which makes it more difficult to extract than a rubberized or patterned case. These are definitely minor points.
Oh, and I should mention that the memory is slow. Slower than other USB flash drives I've owned. I moved 5.15 GB of data from my old backup drive to this one, and between the two USB thumb drives it took four hours. Transfers from a motor HD are faster, of course, but you aren't going to get any ReadyBoost out of this device. Again, though, this is a minor point; if you're buying a USB flash drive expecting to get blazing speed, you need to learn something about the products.
So, make sure you know what you're getting: A very inexpensive large storage unit that's larger than most. I recommend it highly!

This review is for the 32 gig version. Flash drive works as expected. Seams a little slow, but works great for the price.
