| Customer Reviews: "Cool" fan! August 2, 2009 Epicac (U.S.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have two of these fans, one in my home office and one at work. To me, they are indispensable in maintaining a more comfortable environment, especially as a cubicle dweller at work. They move an easily adequate volume of air - I rarely turn it above the low speed setting. One kind of nice side benefit is that the sound from the fan, while obviously not silent, does create a "white noise" that is somewhat effective in drowning out ambient sounds while not being annoying. If you are looking for a small footprint fan for a space inside of 8x8', this one is highly recommended.
Far from spectacular, but serves my purpose... May 24, 2007 A. E. Tanner (Phoenix, AZ United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This little fan is adequate to the task of blowing your hair back at a gentle pace, but it's just a little less powerful than I was hoping for. Granted, I bought it for its compact size and low noise (since its main employ will be to stir up the air at my place of business), but I was hoping that it had enough power to feel the breeze further than a mere 7' away. Ultimately, it'll do what I and my co-workers need it to do, but I was kinda disappointed by the lack of power it has.
Its small stature and ability to tuck away into tight spaces makes it very convenient, and the buttons on the front are admittedly pretty cool. The fact that it oscillates on its own pedestal is a definite advantage since it doesn't knock over whatever we set next to it. Ultimately, I'm not sure it's worth the relatively high purchase price, especially when there are other, more cost-effective means of propelling air around the room (and with more power to boot)... but for our purposes here in the office, it'll serve our purpose.
Nice Little Fan December 26, 2009 JSlot (Summerville, SC USA) This fan is the quietest one I have found. It performs as advertised and it's a good value for the $$$$.
